Welcome to Expat Pie! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website and our services. By accessing or using our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully.
1. Overview
Expat Pie provides a platform to connect tech professionals with job opportunities that may offer visa sponsorship and relocation packages. We also offer career consulting and mentorship services.
2. Job Opportunities
While we strive to gather accurate information regarding job positions that offer visa sponsorship and relocation packages, we cannot guarantee that these benefits will be provided. The information is based on publicly accessible data and experiences of past candidates. Companies may change their policies at any time and decide not to offer visa sponsorship or relocation support for any position. Expat Pie is not responsible for such decisions.
3. Consulting Agreement
This consulting agreement aims to set clear expectations between the consultant and the client prior to any consulting sessions.
4. Client Responsibilities:
- Be open to change and new ways of learning.
- Recognize the investment in your development.
- Implement the techniques mentioned by the consultant.
- Commit to the process to benefit fully.
Consultant Responsibilities
Based on your specific request and the time available, our consultants will tailor their assistance to your chosen topic. Here are the areas in which our mentors can provide support:
HR and Career Mentors:
- Help you write or upgrade your CV.
- Improve your job-finding, personal branding, and interview skills.
- Teach you how to maximize your LinkedIn account and network.
- Guide you in finding job positions with visa sponsorship.
- Provide information about labor laws and important employment contract terms.
- Assist with salary negotiation.
- Be open, objective, and non-judgmental.
- Challenge your ideas and thoughts constructively.
- Answer your questions or provide follow-up information if necessary.
Technical Career Mentors:
- Provide feedback on interview assignments and coding challenges.
- Offer expert knowledge to help improve your technical skills and expertise.
- Guide you in best practices for coding and technical problem-solving.
- Assist in preparing for technical interviews, including mock interview sessions.
- Help you identify and work on areas for improvement in your technical skills.
- Support you in setting and achieving technical career goals.
- Offer advice on staying updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
5. Confidentiality
The Consultant agrees to keep all conversations and information with the Client private and confidential, as allowable by law. No personal information will be shared without the Client’s express permission, except in cases of imminent threat of serious injury to oneself or someone else.
6. Consulting Session Procedures:
- Sessions: Conducted via Google Meet and are 60 minutes long. If interrupted, the session time will be extended to complete the full hour. Sessions running over one hour will incur additional charges.
- Recording: Sessions are not allowed to be recorded.
- Responsibility: Career consulting is part of your development process and does not guarantee employment success.
- Post-Session Communication: Consultants are not required to answer further questions post-session.
- Cancellations: Must be made at least 24 hours in advance to avoid a 50% cancellation fee.
- Fees and Refunds: Fees are non-refundable. Sessions must be used within 6 months of payment. Unused sessions can be transferred to a friend within 6 months.
7. Consulting Fees
Standard Fee: 70 - 150 Euros per session, as specified on each mentor's profile.
8. Acceptance of Terms
By requesting a session, you acknowledge and accept our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. We strongly recommend that you read these documents before requesting a session and sharing your data with us. Once you request a session and your time is confirmed, you will receive payment instructions. Payment must be completed before the session, and you must send a receipt to confirm your appointment.
